In this case study, I set myself the objective of creating youthful and faithful-to-the-brand logos for Vans apparel. This was a personal exploration, I want to eventually work for this company in the future. I utilized adobe illustrator and photoshop for this logo case study.
My objective for this case study was to create realistic mock-up Vans Advertisements that I shot and edited myself. The result was a surprisingly viable simulation that I am very proud of.
My objective in these paintings was to explore the use of fine detail and color. Oil and watercolor portrait painting is my favorite medium to work with.
These are relatively large works and were featured in the Santiago Canyon College 2019 Art Show and the 2019 Pomona Art Walk Vitality Art Show
Remade a production logo into a communicative, simple, clean and effective logo.
One might not suspect their first logo to represent a media, production company with it’s confusing face design.
I took into account their company name, “Lunar Vision” and used an eye with a crescent moon and shutter to represent the camera lens. This is all to give visual hints to the customer to communicate, - This is a production company
What I wanted to accomplish with this was a “Malcolm in the Middle-intro-esque” aesthetic just for the sake of exploring my own brand image. The result was glitchy-digital themed personal images. The third one closely resembles the Punch-Drunk- Love movie Intro which I was inspired by also.
